Spreadtweet is a great app which provides a unique and original way to use Twitter, disguising it as a common spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel. So if you are trying to hide your Twitter activity from co-workers, this is the perfect application for you.
"So, you work at a big corporate, huh? And you’re not allowed to use Twitter… Wouldn’t it be awesome if there were a Twitter tool that looked just like Excel?" This is what @elliottkember says to all those Twitter users that are afraid to open a browser or any Twitter application related in their offices.
Spreadtweet, an Adobe AIR app, offers three different types of user interface: Office OSX, Office 2003 and Office 2007.

Pagemodo's Page Builder is a free service to design Facebook pages in a very professional way. The interesting thing about it is that we don't need any knowledge about programming or design.
Social Media business changed significantly with the growth of Facebook, forcing companies to use this social network to extend their business. And if we want to get Facebook's users attention we will need something more than just a simple page of our company and/or startup.
Pagemodo provides a simple way to accomplish this by giving us all the necessary tools, with an easy method to embed images and instant publication. The site also includes paid versions (starting from $9 per month) with the possibilities to embed video, live support and with the feature of Google Analytics to be included soon.
Apple has just announced as of January 31st, 2011, they will no longer be selling servers. Apple will be dropping their Xserve rackmounted server, but at the same time it's also introducing a new Mac Pro Server configuration.

Apple recommends that users adopt its new Mac Pro Server configuration, or its Mac mini server. The Mac Pro server is slated to ship in a few weeks with a $2,999 base option that features a quad-core Intel Xeon processor and 8 gigabytes of RAM.

Dell has released a teaser trailer for their new Dell Inspiron Duo. The Dell Inspiron Duo tablet has a full QWERTY keyboard and it actually looks very impressive. However, it looks a little bit like a large screen Windows phone 7 product.
The tablet market is going to be all about who has the biggest collection of applications. Thus, its going to be near impossible to beat the iPad, unless you you beat them on price.
For me there is nothing better than an old school Vespa. Portuguese carpenter Carlos Alberto built this amazing wooden Vespa himself and called it Daniela after his daughter. As you can see from the body work he must have spent a huge amount of time on the Vespa. The Vespa itself is made of laminated hardwood with a steam-bent wooden spine.

Apple is already approving some applications for iOS 4.2 that take advantage of Apple's Game Center platform. For example, Big Bad Sudoku Book is already available for download with iPad Game Center compatibility.
Cult of Mac are reporting that Apple plans on leveraging Near Field Communication (NFC) chip technology toward making the iPhone a remote computer capable of sharing wirelessly with Macs. NFC technology enables short-range communications between compatible devices.
Cult's source explains: "The Mac authenticates with the iPhone, which contains a lot of the information the computer needs, such as bookmarks, passwords and other data. The system would essentially turn any Apple computer into your own — like you're actually working on your own computer. Same settings, look, bookmarks, preferences. It would all be invisible. Your iPhone would be all you needed to unlock your Mac."
While speaking at an event in Hong Kong, Michael Dell also said that he had received feedback from developers that it was easier to develop smartphone software using Microsoft's Windows operating system than Google's popular free Android system.
Lots of developers are probably saying to themselves that Mr. Dell is just stating the obvious. The fragmented Android platform is proving to be very difficult for developers.
Manufacturers need to meet Windows Phone 7 minimum hardware specifications, so this means if developers develop their application to run on those minimum specs, then it will run on every Windows Phone 7 device.

I love people who hack applications to work on any device. Hackers have now got Plex to work on the new iOS Apple TV. That means if you have a Plex server running in your house you could theoretically play any Plex content on your AppleTV.

Qik has just partnered with T-Mobile to help power their upcoming video chat service. The integrated video chat service, which will be available on the upcoming myTouch 4G handset. The T-Mobile video chat will allow users not only to conduct live two-way video conversations from their mobile device, but also will allow users to leave video messages.
Press Release:
First to Offer Native Android Address Book Integration with Video Chat including Presence, and Industry-Leading Performance through Deep Hardware Integration
REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Nov. 3, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Qik and T-Mobile USA, Inc. today announced details of the next generation live video communications, sharing and messaging service to be available to consumers across with the U.S. through the upcoming availability of the T-Mobile® myTouch® 4G. The integrated T-Mobile Video Chat powered by Qik will be the first to offer integration into the native Android™ address book with the benefit of indicating live presence allowing customers to connect with friends and family through live video conversations and video messaging over T-Mobile's network and Wi-Fi.
The deployment of new higher speed networks, like T-Mobile's 4G mobile broadband network, together with the introduction of devices like the new T-Mobile myTouch with 1GHz CPU and 720p video capability, now makes possible a new social video experience providing consumers with new ways to communicate and share using video with their friends, family, and through social networks.
T-Mobile Video Chat powered by Qik offers dramatically improved video quality and frame rates compared to other video calling solutions on the marketplace through deep hardware integration. Further, this is the first video communications service that is integrated directly into the native Android address book including live presence indication. From the device address book, users can view if their contacts are available to engage in a live video session, and can directly initiate a session from the native device user interface.
Unlike existing video calling solutions, T-Mobile Video Chat powered by Qik allows users not only to conduct live two-way video conversations from their mobile device, but also allows users to leave video messages. Similar to leaving a voice message when a recipient is not available for a voice call, users are demanding the ability to leave video messages when they attempt to share an irreproducible moment with their friend or family member.
The service also allows friends and family members to receive video messages on over 200 supported phone models, and also allows users to share moments through social networks, to stream live to the web, and to archive their important memories through a dedicated video management site at www.qik.com.
"Qik is proud to bring this game-changing new service to market specifically for T-Mobile customers," said Vijay Tella, CEO of Qik. "We have answered the need for both live and asynchronous capabilities, which is the hallmark of any complete consumer video communications service, and we have done it at a level of quality and performance that simply needs to be experienced to believe."
"T-Mobile Video Chat powered by Qik is the ideal showcase for the capabilities of our network and is an example of our focus on providing innovative new solutions to enrich the lives of our customers," said Andrew Sherrard, vice president, product management, T-Mobile USA.

Microsoft are forecasting to sell more than 5 million Kinect units before the end of the year. Based on pre-sales, retail orders and consumer interest, the company expects to exceed a previous forecast of 3 million units, Don Mattrick, president of Microsoft's Interactive Entertainment Business, said in an interview today.
"They are really defining Kinect as the must-have holiday item," Mattrick said of retailers. "It means it's going to be our biggest holiday ever."
Google recently announced that they will be launching Google TV very soon. Google TV allows users to use your favourite web application and stream video the internet on their tv. Now, GameString has taken Google TV one step further with their Adrenalin product.
GameString Adrenalin allows you to stream your PC games via Chrome on Google TV.
The service seems to run rather smoothly, as you can see from the video below. If you are interested in trying out GameString Adrenalin, you can sign up for the free open beta here.
It seems like a new version of Google Chrome is being released every week. Now, you can download Google Chrome 9 via the Dev channel.
Here's what you need to know about the Dev channel release:
This developer preview channel is where ideas get tested (and sometimes fail). The Dev channel can be very unstable at times, and new features usually require some manual configuration to be enabled. Still, simply using Dev channel releases is an easy (practically zero-effort) way for anyone to help improve Google Chrome.
Google Chrome 9 isnt really stable at the moment, so make sure you use it to fun and dont get upset if it doesnt work perfectly!
Meet the “Real Weather Girls“, it seems to be a weird mix between reality tv and a weather application.
The iPhone application follows 12 women in 12 cities around the world (but mainly just the USA!). Once you login to the iPhone application you will be able to search for the weather near you or in any town around the world. However, the Real Weather Girls also has the 12 girls producing daily videos about what they do in their day to day lives. This application kind of reminds me about a new tv show called 7 days here in the UK.
Anyways, the app has a very interesting concept and it will be interesting to see if it takes off. Im not exactly too sure how these girls or the developer is currently making money from the project (apart from the fact the iPhone app will be $2.99).
Tablet Connect is a gadget I must have for Christmas! Table Connect for iPhone is a 58" multi-touch screen that connects directly to your iPhone and it allows you to use your iPhone directly on the table.
Your iPhone simply connects via a USB to the tablet and then it all runs straight away.
The people behind the project pulled off a video demo today and it looks amazing.
What do you think about the Table Connect? Is it something you would have in your own home?
Apple has just seeded the final iOS 4.2 release to developers. This now means that the Redsnow team has been frantically sorting out their latest release. Redsnow 0.9.6b2 is out and it can now jailbreak all of the current iOS devices on iOS 4.2.
Today Apple released to developers the GM seed for 4.2. Tinkerers will find that yesterday's redsn0w jailbreaks today's 4.2 GM seed, simply by pointing redsn0w at the 4.1 IPSW (rather than the 4.2 one). Right now it mostly only makes sense for JB app developers to do that because many apps (including Cydia itself) need to be updated for 4.2. However, if all you want to do is enable afc2 (to use iFunBox or other file browsers), or to tweak settings like Battery % and Homescreen wallpapers, then go for it (if you have valid paid access to the GM seed). Be sure to uncheck the Cydia box, though! Ultrasn0w unlockers should stay very far away from this!!
This is the new Squier Stratocaster guitar that will be available for the new Rock Band 3 and it will cost $280 on the 1st of March 2011. The Strat guitar can be used to play the game, or plugged into an amp and played as a standalone guitar.
T-Mobile has launched a new advertising campaign that focuses on pushing their 4G network against the poor 3G network of AT&T. The ad mimics Apple’s Im a Mac campaign and it even features the “iPhone 4″.
Check out the video below and let us know what you think.
We can expect that Dotomi is being acquired by AOL. Dotomi is an advertising network with great retargeting technology, which is the real reason for the acquisition.
There is still no word on the acquisition price or finer details. Stay tuned!
Apple will be increasing track previews in iTunes from 30 seconds to 90 second samples. In an email to all publishers Apple stated:
We are pleased to let you know that we are preparing to increase the length of music previews from 30 seconds to 90 seconds on the iTunes Store in the United States. We believe that giving potential customers more time to listen to your music will lead to more purchases.
Songs longer than two minutes and 30 seconds will have up to 90-second samples, although shorter songs will stick at 30 seconds. "You agree to license, or pass through to Apple, gratis mechanical rights for 90-second 'Clips' embodying the entirety of compositions owned or controlled, in whole or in part, by you or your affiliates.
